About Emily

I'm 26. I have my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Photography. I was drawn to the west coast (and Oregon in particular!) because of the art scene and the amazing beauty of the mountains and the ocean. I came to Eugene specifically because that is where my boyfriend was living and I visited last fall to see him. I fell in love with the place and him, and decided to move soon after.

Cancer Diagnosis

I'm pretty open about the whole cancer thing. I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin's Lymphoma at the end of July. I've been put on the back burner as to whether any of my bills will be covered. Right now I'm at about 20,000 dollars owed and only a third of the way through treatment.
